Prep Time 15 minutes mins
Cook Time 25 minutes mins
Total Time 40 minutes mins
- 1.5 cup All purpose flour
- 1.5 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1.125 cup Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1.25 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Cooking oil
- 1.5 Cup Unsalted Butter
Preheat oven to 375°F
Combine hot melted butter, oil and sugar together in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk well for about a minute.
Add the eggs and vanilla; beat until lighter in well blended. Sift in flour, cocoa powder and salt.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until well combined (Now would be the time to add chocolate chips or chunks if you are doing so).
Pour batter into prepared pan, smoothing the top out evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the center of the brownies in the pan no longer jiggles.
If testing with a toothpick, the toothpick should come out fudgy, not runny.
Remove from heat and allow to set at room temperature before slicing. Makes 8 large brownies.
